gAALaxy at the SMARTER LIVES 2018
On February 20, 2018, the conference SMARTER LIVES took place at the University of Innsbruck. The event aims at bringing together interested stakeholders in the AAL field and includes a mix of talks, discussions as well as a public fair. Like last year, gAALaxy was strongly represented by our project team.
Demonstration and Consultancy at the gAALaxy booth
At the gAALaxy stand (represented by the project partners University of Innsbruck and SIS Consulting GmbH), interested visitors were able to get an impression of our product bundle. In addition to a lively exchange with AAL solution providers and research organizations, some older people had followed the invitation to Smarter Lives and got the opportunity to gain an impression of the gAALaxy system and sign up for the gAALaxy trial period.
Elevator Pitch
During a short elevator pitch presented by the University of Innsbruck, the visitors gained a first impression of our research project and its core ideas.
First impressions of the gAALaxy pilot phase
Those who wanted to know more about our project had the opportunity to attend a talk by our Eurac Research team in the afternoon. Ines Simbrig and Sonja Vigl gave interesting insights into the test region South Tyrol and presented inital results from the first test phase.
