University of Antwerpen

The University of Antwerp is one of the major Belgian universities located in the city of Antwerp, with approximately 20.000 students. As of 2014, the University of Antwerp ranks as 170th globally according to Times Higher Education. The mission of the research group Product Development is to support companies with product innovation and applied research. We focus on applied scientific research and research valorization within three foci: Human Centered Design, Design for Sustainability and Strategic Design. Within our research valorization we developed a thematic focus on products and services for care and care technology. It encompasses the development of new systems, processes, products and services that improve the quality of care.
