Villa Melitta

The private healthcare facility is located in Bolzano and was founded in 1960 as a private ear, nose and throat clinic by Dr. Franz Waldner. Today, VILLA can boast a wealth of experience, particularly in the rehabilitation sector. VILLA has more than 69 patient beds for rehabilitation and an outpatient physiotherapy centre. VILLA provides citizens, through a collaboration agreement with the local healthcare trust, with services that have the same characteristics as those offered in public hospitals and surgeries.
VILLA established an in-house ICT innovation lab in order to test and propel products for the healthcare sector. The goal is to provide their residents with enhanced services. The gAALaxy project can benefit from this lab through additional know-how and test environments.
